Glad to see this. It is way long overdue. I got a FlatPack about 6 years ago that I stopped using almost immediately because as a standalone pack, it was relatively uncomfortable in humid weather. Eventually I got the Qore Performance pads, which turned it into my favorite minimalist pack. I will look to get a few of these to retrofit other similarly sized packs.

The only time this is different is when it is represented in an active, “moving forward”, fixed representation. At that time the union faces forward in the direction of movement.
